It's all changing.

Well suddenly it's happened. I think I have it in me to actually post something. Let's see how this goes.

So the last few weeks have been rather busy for me, working 40 hour weeks, setting up my new linux only computer, hiking mountains, helping people move, etc. I have to admit ever since I got back to Boulder last month I've been feeling more and more at home here. For now I don't mind my job at Peaceful Mountain. Essentially what it entails is labeling tubes and bottles, but in the past few weeks they've trained me to fill them, brew the colloids that go into a few of the products, clean up after the sales team, and for some reason solder ciruitry. Despite it being probably the best job I've had out here, I'm more than likely quiting when my co-worker leaves in mid-August. We've grown to be quite good friends in the last month, and I'll be sorry to see him go, and frankly, he's the only reason I really bother to keep a job that is quite repetitive, boring, unrecognized and through a bitter coincidence involves me working with the very same smug bastard who took me on a most depressing journey through the undergrad party scene I described somewhat here.

So basically, sometime in the next two weeks I plan to tell my boss that when my dear friend mister Elsen leaves on the 10th, I'll be soon to follow. What's next for me you may ask? Isn't it time to get back to grad school? Nah. Unless you're my parents, it should be no suprise that I've been seriously doubting going back to school. Well fuck it, no more tiptoeing. I'm not going back. I fucking hated doing all that translation. Plus I have no intention going into debt 50000 dollars just so I can teach high school. I could do that now if I worked at it.

Yes, indeed it is true, I am quit the Classics, if one can really quit such a thing. So what I am I doing in lieu of school? Moving in with my brother, as I did sign a lease. Then I suppose working various jobs until I move back to Maryland a year from next month, at which point I have every intention of running away to Europe for upwards of a year. But I'll speak more on that when it becomes a reality.

For now, I get to look forward to another busy month. As of this morning my brother ventured onto the Road to Boulder, much like I did one short year ago. At the same time my parents are preparing to fly out for a three week trip starting this weekend. So beginning Saturday my modest one bedroom apartment will be housing 5: My parents, my brother and his girlfriend, and of course moi. Crowded indeed, but come August 7th I'll be living it up in my new two bedroom apartment, maybe 50 feet from where I sit now, if that.

We'll see how that all turns out.

______
I'm doing alright, but I miss you every day
